"As He is, so are WE in this world."
This verse from I John 4:17 sets the standard for those who are in Christ Jesus. For believers, this is the high calling of which Paul spoke. When John wrote this, Jesus had already ascended into Heaven and seated Himself at the right hand of the Father - the position of all authority. So just HOW IS Jesus? In close relationship to the Father, having all authority, full of love, joy, peace - full of wisdom and understanding. Jesus isn't poor, sick, depressed, anxious, fearful or dreading the future. As HE IS, so are WE in this world. As we join Paul and press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus, we must pursue Him with all we are, renewing our minds daily to the Word of God. As we replace our old thoughts and old ways of thinking about ourselves and our Father God, we can begin to achieve success in the journey. We must constantly be changing from glory to glory, becoming more like Him. THEN the world will see the Church in His glory and be drawn to His marvelous light. We are training for reigning. We invite you to join us as we seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness. It is your destiny to be like Him. Come and learn how to live the life you were created to live -- a child of the King, in the family of God!
