Who ARE the people of Spoken Word Church?
We are a body of believers who are living in the reality of the indwelling Presence of the Spirit of Christ. We are living epistles continuing to live out the book of Acts. We preach the uncompromising Word of God and the Lord works confirming His Word with signs following. We demonstrate His love and His power. We draw people from darkness into His marvelous Light. Our high calling in Christ Jesus is simply stated— ”as He is, so also are we in this world.” (I John 4:17) We are not conformed to this world, but are being transformed by the renewing of our minds to the Word of God—exchanging our old thoughts for His thoughts. We will believe the report of the Lord, no matter what the world says. The Word of God is the standard for our lives. That Word empowers us to do whatever God said. We call those things that be not as though they are until they become. We give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. We are a people who walk in The Blessing of God. We walk free from poverty, sickness and spiritual death. We continually walk in greater and greater Light. We reside in the Kingdom of God and enjoy Heaven on earth!
