Tithing is not done with the hands, it is done with the mouth!

Like everything in the Kingdom of God, tithing operates by faith and by speaking.  In Deuteronomy chapter 26, when God instructed the children of Israel to bring the tithe, the tenth of all their increase, into the priest, He instructed them to SAY.  Three times He instructs them exactly what to SAY over their giving.   Today, Jesus Christ is the High Priest of our profession (confession) and we bring our tithes and offerings to Him and He takes them and worships the Father with them!  As a corporate Body of believers, we confess these Scriptures over the tithes and offerings each week as we bring our tithes into the storehouse in obedience to the Word of God.
The tithe is HOLY to the Lord, sanctified, set apart for His use.  When we bring it to Him, it is an act of worship.  And in return, He has promised to open the windows (floodgates) of Heaven and pour us out a blessing we cannot see room enough to receive it AND He promises to rebuke the devourer (the enemy) for HIS sake.  What does that mean?  It means when we tithe in obedience to God's Word, He will pour out more blessings than we can contain and the devil won't be causing your car to break down, the washer to go out; he won't be stopping you from getting a pay raise or a promotion -- the devil is rebuked away from you and your stuff by God HIMSELF!  Brother and Sister, you can't afford NOT to tithe!  So don't rob God of what belongs to Him and put yourself under the curse -- bring ALL the tithe into His house and expect to see the blessings coming your way.  Malachi 3:10 is the only place in the Bible where God tells you to PROVE HIM.  He wants to prove to you that His Word works.  Will you trust and obey?  We can testify, after more than 40 years of tithing, we have always had abundance at our house!  God is faithful!

                    Tithing Confession

We profess this day unto the Lord God that we have come in to the inheritance which the Lord swore to give us.  We are in the land which you have provided for us in Jesus Christ, the kingdom of Almighty God.  We were sinners, serving satan, he was our god.  But we called upon the name of Jesus and You heard our cry and delivered us from the power and authority of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of your dear Son.  Jesus, as our Lord and High Priest, we bring the first fruits of our income to You and worship the Lord God with it.  We rejoice in all the good which you have given unto us and our household.  We have hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God and have done according to all that you have commanded us.  We thank You that You have imparted to us The Blessing as You said in Your Word.

You said if we would bring all the tithe into the storehouse so there would be meat in Your house, that we should put You to the test, if you would not open the floodgates of Heaven and pour us out a blessing that we cannot see room enough to receive it.  Not just enough for our needs to be met, but enough left over for every good work and charitable contribution. You said you would rebuke the devourer for our sakes, that he would not destroy the fruit of our ground, neither would our vines cast their fruit before its time in the field.  You said all nations shall call us blessed for we will be a delightsome land.
