Will You Say YES to God?

God has been waiting for you to say YES to His offer.

What does He offer?

As a child of God, you can enjoy abundant life, peace, joy, health, prosperity, wholeness of body, spirit and soul, as well as life eternal in the presence of God!

The God of the universe no longer dwells in a box, like the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament, or in a tabernacle, a building made with hands -- the living God desires to come and make His dwelling place in YOU -- empowering you with His Holy Spirit to be more than a conqueror, victorious in every situation. He is waiting for you to say YES to His Son, Jesus.

The Bible tells us that when Adam committed high treason against God, disobeying Him in the Garden of Eden, spiritual death and the sin nature came on mankind. Adam's actions didn't surprise God -- He already had a plan ready to redeem mankind. Jesus is known as the "Lamb slain before the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:8). God told Adam in the Garden that Jesus would come to crush the head, or authority, of satan.

But I'm a good person," some say. "I treat people right, I do good things, I go to church and read my Bible. I live right -- why do I need Jesus?"

Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." "There is none righteous, no not one." It isn't about what you DO, but who you ARE. You are the seed of Adam, born with a sinful nature. Because of your blood line, you are subject to the Law. Therefore, you must live and obey EVERY LAW ALL THE TIME in order to be in right standing with God; otherwise, you have sinned.

The Word of God says that "without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin." That is why they offered blood sacrifices in the Old Testament -- the blood of goats and bulls did not cleanse people from sin, it merely covered it, and for a season. Only the blood of a sinless man, Jesus, poured out on Calvary's hill, was able to cleanse, to completely wash away, the sin of all mankind. The Bible says He rose "victorious over death, hell and the grave" on the third day -- Hell could not hold him, because He had no sin. "He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus."

The Bible says, "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God, not of WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Eph 2:8-9) Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6) Many try to come to God through good works, religion, sacrifices -- but Jesus is the ONLY WAY.

Romans 10:9-10, "That if you shal confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you SHALL be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."The word salvation, as used in the Bible, is translated, saving, preservation of life and physical health, final and complete deliverance from all the curse, including spiritual death. All these things belong to the person who believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth, Jesus is Lord!

John 3:36 says, "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him." Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24).

Finally, Romans 8:14-16: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cray, Abba (Daddy), Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God."

TODAY is the day of salvation! You can have the assurance that you are a child of God NOW, able to enjoy all the benefits and life everlasting in Heaven -- as you read these Scriptures, which are God's Word to you, alive and powerful, faith rose in your heart. How do I know? Because the Bible says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Now it is time to ACT on that faith and RECEIVE what God has for YOU! Faith speaks -- so, like the scripture above says (Romans 10:9-10) you believe with your heart, and confess (speak) with your mouth. Say this prayer outloud:

"Father, I believe Jesus Christ is your Son, and that He died on the cross for me, so that I could come into right position with you, I could be righteous.I believe you raised Him from the dead and today He is seated at your right hand. Jesus, thank you for dying for me. I ask you to come into my heart and make me a new person. I ask in faith, believing that I receive and I thank you! Amen.
